E Train to the World Trade Center

Growing up in New York City seem like a mecca to me. It is the home of Wall Street, United Nations, Yankee Stadium, Madison Avenue, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Lincoln Center. It is the home of the super rich who live in The Dakota, 10 Gracie Square and 740 Park Avenue multi million dollars high rise apartments. As one of New York City athletes, occasional scholarly students and one of it's fastest messengers. I got a chance to experience it all.

The whole world knows about the events of September 11 of which this book is title "E Train To The World Trade Center". But within this mecca called New York City there were and still are a myraid of issues unresolved. Issues involving politics, civil rights, crime and punishment, corporate greed, terrorism, unemployment, downright racism and incredible success.

Despite earnest attempts, multiple issues and problems could not be resolved through Hip Hop culture. In this personal essay "E Train To The World Trade Center". I write about my life in New York City in a straight forward manner and vividly as I can remember it. Yet as one of the millions of people living in an international cosmopolitan, I continue to wish for the American Dream, God Bless New York City.
