Good News From Haiti
"Good News From Haiti" photography by Bob Gore is a photo documentary of Bethlehem Ministry's relief programs in Haiti's rural northeast region, produced prior to the 2010 earthquake. The images depict the rarely seen routine of working families, who, in spite of unprecedented poverty, find the means to feed themselves, maintain shelter and educate their children, largely in private schools.
For the past quarter of a century, the organization has created vital educational, environmental and health-care programs. "Good News From Haiti" depicts these successes and the people responsible for the miraculous accomplishments.
Since 2007 Gore has served as the volunteer photographer, writer and development specialist. Bethlehem Ministries, an Athens, Ga -based organization, supports a variety of projects, including school and the development of a clinic in Terrier Rouge, a rural community in the northeast region of the country. Gore's hope is that he might, in some small way, assist in attracting new financial support.
All proceeds from "Good News From Haiti" go to support the work of Bethlehem Ministry.
